He was born December 3, 1961 in Rockwood, Tennessee, the son of Paul and Joyce (Martin) Gilbreath. For many years, Fred continued to play amateur baseball while enjoying fishing, hunting, raising and training hunting dogs, and playing golf. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Deeply devoted and loving Husband, Father and Grandfather was born October 21, 1929 in Springfield (Clark County) Ohio to Orville M Scott and Stella Winifred (Overhalser) Scott. She was born June 23, 1984, in Charleston, West Virginia, the daughter of Barry D. and Judith W. (Woldroup) Lewis. Gary W. Johnson, age 69 of Bolivar, MO, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2023, at Citizens Memorial Hospital Bolivar, MO. He was born July 5, 1962 in Springfield, the son of John E. and Janet L (Althouse) Decker. He accepted Jesus as his rock, his Lord and Savior within recent years, and devoted his remaining years to building this relationship culminating in the most powerful welcome home he ever received when he closed his eyes for the last time. She was preceded in death by her parents, Irvin Barry and Doris Mae (Avery) McDonald; brother, Ross McDonald; an infant sister; uncle, Tommy Avery; and brothers-in-law, Eugene Justice and Butch Blazer. Bill enjoyed music, playing pool and spending time with his family and friends especial his nephews who were his life. In addition, she served on the Baptist Western Association Womens Board, was a former advisor for Christian Womens Clubs of America, member of WEEC Christian Auxiliary, member of Clark County Farm Bureau, Tecumseh Farm Bureau Council, and served on her election precinct as Clerk and Judge Precinct official for 30 years. She was a case manager with the Light House. He was a resident of the Springfield Masonic Community in Springfield, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Thursday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. He loved anything to do with patriotism for his country, eagles, nature, and most of all he loved the Lord with all his heart and soul. Survivors include his fiance, Jackie Burkitt; mother and stepfather, Jo Ann (Wheldon) and John H. Steinhauer of Springfield; children, Angela Nicole Nikki (Rayshawn) Ball and Reed William Buxton; grandchildren, Evan Pottinger and Raylee Ball; step-grandchildren, Caroline and Bella Harper; siblings, Rodney (Suzy) Steinhauer, Jennifer Steinhauer, David Buxton, Shane Steinhauer, and Jason Steinhauer; and several nieces and nephews. Ray is survived by his children Stephen (Gina) Jones, Linda (Sterling) Stone, Philip (Sandra) Jones, Carol (Bob) Hill and Daniel (Gena) Jones; sister Shirley (Gordon) Jones; 13 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter; Shelley Algren, siblings; Iva Lou Blauvelt, Wendell, Ralph, and Richard Leon Dick Weeks and her parents. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the services.
