Isaiah 55:8 reads
“for my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways.”
Have you ever felt like your life was going in circles? A time where you invested so many days, so many years now you are running out of resources now come the tears. Your situation is desperate the money and resources are out and now you need someone without a doubt! This makes it hard to keep going as you look ahead not knowing. Well, just know this life does not always bring you desert especially in times of the desert! A time of dryness where there is no spiritual water, rain nourishes the land, but God’s rain on us nourish the woman and the man.
You see God’s word and its blessing is a lot like the rain. So when you run out of resources and begin to get nervous know that just as the rain always nourish the land, God’s word will always accomplish his purpose. So we must know that every time God’s word is preached, heard, or read, it will accomplish his purpose because someone is fed.
Just keep in mind that you might not always know or understand what that purpose is at the time do not waste time trying to figure out his purpose, God reminds us when he says, “for my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways”, Isaiah 55 vs 8.
So don’t let the rain of God’s blessing come without your ditch dug deep and you not be prepared because you fell asleep.
Amen Lord, as we read your Word we ask that it be your medication to our meditation. May the rain of your blessings be upon us knowing that what your blessings cannot be cursed and we will not quit until we receive it.
