This was implemented to some extent in vanilla (hence how Serana had different dialogue animations throughout the DG questline) but never fully realized. - Added a follow-up line to College of Winterhold commentary. Now instead of just replacing/revoicing vanilla lines, an intelligent script scans to see if the player is actively doing a Dawnguard quest. Fixes to dialogue conditions for some Serana quest commentary, so that she won't suddenly exit dialogue with you for no reason Improved force greet distance for all quest commentaries- when Serana wants to have an active conversation with you, she should sit still less, and actively try to find you instead. The base narrative for the Thieves Guild remains unchanged, in addition to vanilla records not needing to be edited. 3. - Subtitle fixes, courtesy of GuerillaTech, - More radiant location commentary for these specific loc types (Falmer Hives, Forsworn Camps, Giant Camps, Hagraven Nests, Lumber Mills, Shipwrecks, Graveyards, Farms), - Serana can now train the player in Conjuration, Alchemy, Speech, Light Armor, Destruction (once a day), - Sneak greets and goodbyes, trading, wait dialogue, - New Serana combat dialogue (with her more repetitive vanilla lines frequency dialed down). This will be accessible through the Serana Menu. This will be enabled when 3.0 is released.). - Added in delays for radiant love greets/dialogue/commentary. Again, to rectify this just stand still or move in her direction. It should pop up now for those who have finished the Main Quest. - The bugfix of the previous 1.9.5 patch created another bug, which prevented the Bannered Mare quest from progressing from a certain point. Just speak to Serana (as long as you know the spell) and you can teach it to her right away. - Serana commentary convos on Dawnguard members (Hunter side). - Spell Enabling/Disabling voiced responses. - Daedric Quest commentary for "A Night to Remember", everyone's favorite The Hangover-style quest in Skyrim. IMPORTANT NOTE: For the Diplomatic Immunity quest, Serana is supposed to be force-dismissed after the last dialogue line. For this to work, players need to download the SDA Wig Patch (implementation still WIP, SMP wig patches to be uploaded soon) or add their own wig records to the SDA_Wiglist Formlist via a custom patch in xEdit. 4. If she can't wait, Serana's wait functionality will just be suspended - though this may create some wonkiness, so I suggest you do not complete the Diplomatic Immunity quest with Serana, or use the sleep feature once Chasing Echoes is active. Lines were also cut (with past updates and this current one) to make the conversation seem more realistic and less overly dramatic. - Optional patch for the Wintersun mod, so that it recognizes SDA's custom Serana marriage for Mara, Dibella, and Morwha's religious tenets. - Addition of 1st Serana banter framework. Frankly it'll take too much effort and also cause compatibility issues if I edit that quest for the sake of SDA's sleeping feature, so I've decided to add in this workaround for now. So now you can hear all of her fun lines. Same reason as above. - One of the radiant greets had a mismatching audio file. Again, her friendship timer is started as soon as you meet her for the second time (either in Fort Dawnguard/ Castle Volkihar) and tell her, "So, here we are again. dialogue. - Serana can now ask the player if they're in the mood for lovemaking (every 2 days or so). Well, after installing (as of this writing) 237 mods (including SDA) and never having gone through the Dawnguard questline at all in any of my many test playthroughs, I look forward to seeing what all this mod has in store. The progression of this content is almost entirely experienced through dialogue with Serana along the Dawnguard journey. It wouldn't make sense for Serana to become more outspoken and bantery to other characters so soon after waking up, - Added AlternateVoice=1 condition to hello lines that should have had it, - Workarounds added to prevent FG seduction dialogue from popping up on Serana after she has been married (thanks jgostling!). Serana Dialogue Add-On at Skyrim Nexus - Mods and Community The friendship requirement stays the same. A lot of the underlying code has been overhauled, so I don't recommend you install this particular update on an existing save. It should now be correct. - Also improved the backend scripts for the Serana Training feature- people were reporting similar issues with said quest. Instead, one minimal messagebox (which shouldn't disrupt roleplay) appears - once you take Serana home to Harkon for the very first time, - Removed old quest commentary lines from old versions of the mod, - Tweaked condition checks for SDA_MQ105 commentary to have it fire off more accurately, - Tweaked condition checks for SDA_MQ106 commentary to have it fire off more accurately. - (Main Quest) Serana is now properly dismissed as her she talks with the player right before they leave for Skuldafn, - The "Tale of the Tongues" song dialogue was conditioned incorrectly. - Minor typo fix with Bolstering The Ranks quest, - Fixed NULL dialogue of that quest too (again), - Dialogue Tweak to one of player dialogue options in Chasing Echoes, - Added conditions for Isran dialogue not to appear when sided with the vampires. - Declining Serana's marriage proposal will no longer gate future Serana Romance content. The "Trust" conversation is gated behind the Serana Romance as this is a very personal topic that more thematically makes sense with the Serana Romance friendship/lover development. I've heard enough reports of people's saves being corrupted once the SDA mod is uninstalled. I've since added in safeguards to ensure that once quests are run, they are no longer run again. Removed Laura Bailey lines that were only subtitles and didn't have audio. - Despite the Thieves Guild questline being railroadey, the player will still be able to roleplay extensively with Serana. - Reduced frequency of Serana's humming a bit (from 5% to 3%), - Reduced frequency of Serana lovey-dovey radiant greets (-20% less frequent), - Reduced frequency of prequel meme lines a bit more (-25% less frequent), - Sofia should no longer start her first conversation with Serana while she is still sleeping at the Whiterun Stables. Aligned and fuz'ed the proper voice files for each. - Commentary tweaks for Raven Rock mine quest, so more players would get to hear Serana's commentary. One of the largest content updates thus far! Serana Dialogue Add-On 3.0 Release! : r/skyrimmods It was not possible to disable the zombie spell without editing Serana's base NPC record, which is out of the scope of this mod (as to keep it compatible with all Serana Replacers). Mods that edit the main Thieves Guild quests will not be supported (any quest record starting with TG)- Serana's commentary is based on the vanilla records. (I'm adding this for more immersion, since Serana is a vampire and would need to feed every now and then, but I'm not allowing her to feed on the player. This should add more padding and depth to what already was a pretty natural and organic romance. This allows her to converse with the player better when she needs to. The player can choose (via dialogue) whether they want Serana's hood to be disabled all times, or only in sunlight (and if Serana isn't wearing any other headgear). Go to Whiterun to start :) Upon completing the quest, players get a sweet reward, which should be quite useful in gameplay! - If the player has installed the mod for the very first time past a certain point in the Dawnguard questline (Beyond Death) the player will be given a menu prompt on whether or not they'd like to have the Serana Romance feature. - During Drinking Buddies, Serana should now only comment on Solstheim if you've been there. - Greatly reduced frequency of Serana's irritated sneak greets, - Companions and Jorrvaskr general location-awareness. Serana asks to go on a date after confessing her love to the Dragonborn . Some of these are scripted, as to add to and grow Serana's character development in relation to to other characters, but some of them are radiant (which means the conversations are rather inconsequential and can randomly occur). Improved pacing and tone of the "Trust" conversation by cutting unnecessary lines that made the conversation a bit melodramatic. - Added in another condition to the Alternate Voice switching script- turns out I forgot Chasing Echoes also took place in the Soul Cairn, not just Castle Vokihar, - Fixed radiant love dialogue not appearing for some, - Added in some more failsafes to ensure Companions commentary runs more smoothly, - Fixed Serana not being able to train you in Speechcraft, - Moved all Serana's goodbye lines into one consolidated branch under a new data quest entry. - (Vampire Only Side) Serana will no longer greet you right after starting "Chasing Echoes"- she should do it outside now. On top of knowing if the player has a vanilla home, I'd also like to add support for modded homes as well. - Serana now has a map marker, toggle-able through the quest journal. Happens every day or so, she'll choose to give gifts spontaneously (the player will be notified when Serana wants to give a gift).
